MRI-Angiography (MRA) of the peripheral system is a non-invasive imaging technique used to visualize the blood vessels in the arms, legs, and other peripheral regions of the body. This test does not involve the use of a contrast agent. The patient lies still on a table that slides into the MRI scanner, and detailed images are obtained to assess the presence of any abnormalities or blockages in the peripheral blood vessels.
Test Preparation : Male : No Special Preparation. Informed Consent Required.
Female : For Female patients in the reproductive age group must provide their last menstrual period (LMP). Alternatively, a urine pregnancy test is necessary.
