X-Ray TM Joint

Also Known As : [TMJ X-ray] [Jaw Joint X-ray]

The X-ray TM Joint Test, also known as Temporomandibular Joint X-ray, is a diagnostic procedure used to assess the health and structure of the temporomandibular joints (TMJ). These joints connect the jawbone to the skull and are crucial for functions like chewing and speaking. During the test, a patient is positioned in front of an X-ray machine, and specialized images are captured to visualize the TMJ’s bone and soft tissue components. This procedure helps healthcare professionals evaluate for conditions such as arthritis, fractures, misalignment, or other issues that may cause jaw pain, clicking, or limited jaw movement. It aids in diagnosing and planning treatment for TMJ disorders.

Test Preparation  :Male: No Special Preparation. Informed Consent Required.
