It is a noninvasive imaging technique that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the eye sockets (orbit). The scan helps find out abscess (infection) of the eye area, broken eye socket bone, and foreign objects in the eye socket.

Test Preparation : Male: No Special Preparation. Informed Consent Required.
Female: Female patients in the reproductive age group must provide their last menstrual period (LMP). Alternatively, a urine pregnancy test is necessary.
